About the market
Rooted in Zilker, grown by neighbors.
Zilker Farmers Market is a small, monthly gathering built by and for the Zilker community. Bring the kids, a tote bag, and an appetite — we'll bring the produce, pastries, pour-overs, and porch-worthy flowers. The market is a nonprofit corporation with an all-volunteer board and is seeking 501(c)(3) recognition from the IRS.
Good to know
- Free entry; stroller-friendly.
- Leashed dogs are welcome to shop.
- Free street parking; bike racks in front of the school.
- Most vendors accept cards; a few are cash-only.
- Live music from local Austin musicians.
- No smoking or alcohol per AISD policy.

Our Mission
Food access and education for all.
Our mission is to improve neighborhood access to fresh, healthy food — particularly for residents who rely on public nutrition-assistance programs — and to educate the public about nutrition, seasonal eating, gardening, sustainable agriculture, and local food systems. We pursue this mission through the farmers market, without which we could not deliver our food-access and educational programs. First date for SNAP, WIC, and related benefit programs at the market to be determined.
